Introduction

Hooked is a 100% native declarative webhook builder for Salesforce. With Hooked you can create webhooks that allow you to send data out of Salesforce automatically to an external system - all without needing code.

Before you go through this documentation, if you haven't already, we recommend going through our Getting Started Guide. This will take you step-by-step through creating an example webhook!

With a familiar interface you'll be able to get up and running in no time!

The key steps of building your own Hooked webhook follow these basic steps:

• Select an object for the webhook
• Set what trigger types for the webhook (i.e. before update)
• Set filter criteria for records to be sent
• Set field mapping to form the JSON that will be sent
• Setup the endpoint details
• Optionally handle a response from the external system
